Criminal defense at Funderburk Law Group is strengthened by the experience of Eric B. Funderburk, who has practiced law in Alabama since 1996 and has tried hundreds of cases as lead counsel, including serious felony matters.

Before returning to private practice, Mr. Funderburk served for more than a decade as a district court judge in Russell County, where he presided over criminal, civil, and family court matters.

This experience provides valuable insight into how courts evaluate evidence, procedure, and legal arguments. Mr. Funderburk is also death-penalty qualified, meaning he is eligible to serve as lead counsel in capital cases.
