Kenneth L. Funderburk

Kenneth L. Funderburk was born and raised in Phenix City, Alabama. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Howard College (now Samford University) and did Post Graduate work at Mississippi State University. He received his Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Alabama, where he served as President of Sigma Delta Kappa and was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Society. He was also a member of The Board of Editors of the Alabama Law Review. Mr. Funderburk is admitted to the Alabama State Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Funderburk has served as a Bar Commissioner and as President of the Russell County Bar Association.

 

During his more than 50 years of practicing law, Mr. Funderburk has amassed a broad scope of knowledge in the law. He has tried multi-million-dollar civil cases, criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies and divorces and handled one of the first cases dealing with the construction of ethanol plants. Mr. Funderburk also has extensive knowledge and experience in corporate and real estate law.

 

In addition to his private practice at Funderburk Law, Mr. Funderburk served as County Attorney for Russell County, Alabama, for 15 years. He has also authored two mystery novels: The Fish House Gang and Medusa’s Lair. Both Books are available on Google and Apple Books.
